Who is Felix Gray?
Felix Gray was born in 2016 by David Roger and Chris Benedict. These two were on a mission to help all of those who lived and worked in the digital world. They were tired of getting headaches, being worn down and having strained, blurred vision after they left the office.
These guys, and a lot of their colleagues, were having the same issues. Since none of them had been able to resolve the issue successfully to this point, they decided to create their own solution.
David and Chris wanted to create a lightweight, yet stylish option to the old blue-blocking glasses that were out there. They also ensured that anti-glare was incorporated in their Felix Grays to help further reduce the issues with Digital Eye Strain. This is a common issue among those of us who sit in front of a computer all day and can potentially cause some long-term side effects.

How Well Do Felix Gray Glasses Perform?
After my first day wearing my Felix Gray glasses, I enjoyed noticeable results. Even without added magnification, I noticed that my eyes were significantly less strained. This was the case after a long day of working away in front of my computer screen and phone.
I was happy and surprised to discover that normal dryness, to which I’d become accustomed, was no longer an issue for me. Plus the regular dull tension pain that had been plaguing me seemed to disappear as well.
I had previously purchased some other lower-quality blue light blockers, but the Felix Grays performed better. The Felix Gray lenses didn’t have as much of a reflective quality, which meant I didn’t have to worry about them bouncing the light from my computer screen.
This also softened incoming light as well, which gave my eyes a break regardless of the surrounding environment. Ultimately, I’ve greatly enjoyed my Felix Gray experience thus far.
Felix Gray glasses are some of the only glasses on the market that offer blue-blocking, anti-glare, and UV protection technology. Their glasses also give you this technology without distorting your vision or clarity of what you’re looking at through the lenses. According to the Felix Gray brand, this technology can help alleviate many symptoms and/or side effects of staring at a screen for too long.
Is Felix Gray a Quality Product?
While Felix Gray is headquartered in New York, their glasses are made in China. The primary products used are Italian acetate and German metal for the frames.
Italian acetate is a product of wood pulp that is supposed to be less allergenic than other plastics. It can also produce brighter colors but can warp at high heat.
Whereas German metal is coveted as one of the best metals in the glasses field, according to the brand. By combining these two products, they are creating a quality product. At least, that is what we are told. I’m a little wary about them being made in China, however.
Either way, their lenses are made to last with regular use. And they back this up with a 1-year warranty and a 30 day back money guarantee. Since their products haven’t been on the market for any great length of time yet it’s hard to say what the true longevity of their glasses is. I suppose only time will tell if these glasses are a long-term quality product or not.
Felix Gray Coupons & Discounts
Felix Gray doesn’t regularly offer discounts or coupons for any of their products. Sometimes they will offer their email subscribers a special deal or discount on specific products though. So, it might be a good idea to sign up for the Felix Gray email list to stay apprised of their few and far between deals.
A one-off discount they do offer is by using their trade-in program. If you trade in an old pair of glasses through their program, they will be donated to the non-profit organization, New Eyes, and you will get a 20% off coupon towards your next Felix Gray glasses purchase.
