Styling With The Blowout Brush Pro
BEFORE
My hair is textured, thick, and normally curly – but I struggle to tame it when it comes to styling it straight to show off the length. Often, my attempts leave my hair dry, frizzy, flat, or dull (or all three). I decided to test the Blowout Brush Pro to see if BondiBoost could give me the control and voluminous, frizz-free results I'd been searching for.
Step 1: Dry & Style
Easy, quick, convenient.
Even though the BondiBoost Blowout Brush Pro is designed to deliver great results styling wet or dry hair, I decided to start fresh out of the shower to see just how much time I could shave off my normal blowdry by using this tool.
My hair is long and thick, so the wide barrel of the brush was a great feature for me. I was able to cover a lot of area quickly, and the wide brush helped distribute air and heat evenly throughout the length of my hair. I found it easiest to work in sections, similar to styling with other tools.
Step 2: Pump Up The Volume
Bring on the blowout.
Next, I continued working in sections, using the heat of the brush to shape and style my hair while adding volume throughout. Because my hair is so thick, I found the highest heat setting to be most effective, but the lower setting would work well to manage thinner or shorter hair – while delivering the same, big, blowout volume.
One thing I love about using this brush is that it's so easy to control. Its weight is well balanced to make styling easier without being too heavy (unlike a blow dryer), so you won't have to worry about sore arms or shoulders.
Step 3: Smooth & Shine
Cool it.
To lock in shine and tame any frizz, I used the cool setting and ran the brush through my hair for about a minute or two. This also helped defend my hair against humidity (my worst nemesis), to ensure that the volume and style lasted all day.
The 360° airflow and dual bristles help detangle without tugging on your hair or causing breakage and frizz, so overall this was gentle on my hair and comfortable to use.
Step 4: Rock Your Locks
Show your style.
I was pretty impressed that one tool could deliver these kinds of results. No blowdryer, no straightener, and no styling products! The shine and body of my DIY blowout even lasted the entire day without any touchups.
While I could use a bit more practice to achieve other styling techniques, BondiBoost has definitely delivered on their promise to make professional level hair styling easier and more accessible to everyone. Personally, I was glad to ditch my blowdryer and multi-product routine – and I don't think I'll be looking back anytime soon.

While I personally need a bit more practice before achieving professional stylist status, this blowout brush gives my hair that fresh-from-the-salon body and feel at a fraction of the cost — and while saving me so. much. time.
