Have you ever wanted to live in sweatpants? If so, these joggers are a dream come true! These ultra-soft cotton/recycled polyester joggers can be purchased in short for a straighter fit or long for that trending “slouchy” look.

A perfect addition to anyone’s closet, this raglan-sleeved crewneck can be dressed up or down for many occasions. Comfy and perfectly cropped, this sweatshirt is made with a blend of polyester, cotton, and rayon.

Because Woodley + Lowe bases sizing off of length instead of standard sizes, you can know exactly where this cropped crewneck will hit on you before buying.

Woodley + Lowe is a community-focused brand geared towards Gen Z teens and young adults ages 13 to 25.

Rachel Thebault and Neda Talebian Funk started Woodley + Lowe with the goal to create comfy, stylish, and inclusive clothing that doesn’t drain your wallet.

Both founders are moms who don’t come from fashion design backgrounds. Rachel and Neda searched for the perfect team, including Woodley + Lowe’s design director Christie Orlando, who has launched lines for Gwenyth Paltrow.

I don’t fall often while roller skating but when I do eat it, I’m confident these clothes will survive the fall. The stitching seems very durable and the waistband is hella thick.

My hobbies include dancing (among other stretchy/climby/acrobatic hobbies), so I NEED my clothes to be flexible with me. I cannot stress enough how free I feel moving in this Woodley + Lowe set.

Wearing this set I can do my morning yoga, make a quick grocery run, and end my day at the rock climbing gym all without feeling the need to change into something “more athletic.”

I never found myself hiking up the sweatpants mid yoga sesh, and it was honestly refreshing to find a pair of sweatpants that felt comfy and not restricting.

Design Details

In my opinion, both the top and bottom fit exactly how I hoped they would. The sweater is cropped at the perfect spot, and the sweatpants have enough length to achieve that laid-back look without giving off “I live in these 24-7” vibes.

I like that the logo is camouflaged and not too prominent. I’m not huge on plastering brand names across my body (no offense to my early 2000s Juicy Couture tracksuit), so I appreciate the subtleness of Woodley + Lowe’s logo design.

The thickness of the sweatpants is also one of my favorite features. Despite feeling hefty, they still have enough breathability for me to go skating or bouldering without overheating.

Washing Considerations

Before washing, the sweatshirt definitely shed some fuzzies on me. With every wash, the shedding decreased, but it definitely happened between the first few washes.

Along with the shedding, the tye-dye bleeds in the first couple of washes.

I jumped the gun and washed the joggers with some of my socks… on the plus side now I have tye-dye socks to match my pants. Even though I washed the joggers and crewneck on cold, it still took multiple washes for the colors to stop bleeding.

Tye-Dye is always tricky for me. As much as I love it, I wish the dye was a little more vibrant. Now, compared to most tye-dye out there, Woodley + Lowe products are way more pigmented. I just wish there was a way to have tye dye stay as saturated as it is when dyeing.

Woodley + Lowe claims to work with ethical L.A. factories and is pushing toward 100% sustainability.

Currently, its shipping materials and packaging are recyclable and compostable, which makes my vegan heart happy. The company also uses a recycled poly blend in most Woodley + Lowe garments.

Woodley + Lowe wants to keep clothing out of landfills, so they will take back your clothes and recycle or upcycle them once they’re worn out (more details in Rewards & Discounts section).

Woodley + Lowe discusses how as a small business it is difficult to find comfy fabrics that are also sustainable, but they claim to be getting closer and closer to 100% sustainable clothing.

Despite not being fully sustainable (yet), Woodley + Lowe launched with a Giveback Pledge. 3% of the company’s yearly revenue is donated to communities near and far, even if they don’t make a profit that year.

In total, the crew neck and joggers set me back around $130.

Do I typically drop $70 on a pair of sweatpants, not usually. BUT, these are so worth it.

I cannot rave enough about how breathable these clothes were when I was working out. I have very few sweatpants in my closet that I can wear without overheating (especially living in AZ).

The clothes are weighty but still wearable on a sunny spring day.

In 2022 it seems small clothing companies have a hard time being all three: high-quality, sustainable, and affordable. I would hope the price could drop a little as the company grows and it becomes more accessible to be a sustainable brand.

Overall, the quality of stitching, fabric, and durability of design make Woodley + Lowe clothing worth the price to me.

I wear my Woodley + Lowe set multiple times per week.

I haven’t noticed any wear and tear (and I jump off rock walls constantly), so I’m hella impressed.

The clothes are still as soft as the day I got them, and the more I wear them the more they mold to my body.

I love that Woodley + Lowe gives 3% of revenue regardless of whether they make a profit that year. The organizations Woodley + Lowe supports are very dear to my heart, so I hope the company can maintain giving every year.

I plan on investing in more Woodley + Lowe clothing in the future, as it works so well for the lifestyle I lead.

If you’re on the fence about spending $70 on a pair of sweatpants, don’t be, these will quickly become your most lived-in item in your closet.
