The Nom Nom Dog Quiz
Nom Nom customizes its dog food subscription and recipe recommendations to each individual pet based on a few criteria. Their intake quiz is short and sweet, and takes about 2 minutes to complete. This quiz covers the following areas, and uses your responses to personalize your pup’s recommended plan:

– Age
– Breed
– Sex
– Current weight
– Body type
– Allergies and other issues affected by diet

Once I submitted the information, Nom Nom went to work creating custom recipe recommendations for Eli! The whole process took about 2 minutes and was incredibly easy. Of the four recipes that Nom Nom offers, Eli was recommended two; the Beef Mash and Turkey Fare.

I repeated this process for my other dog, Chai, and selected the remaining two recipes for her (Pork and Chicken), so the pups could try all four options for this review.

I love my two dogs, and I’m always on the lookout for new ways to improve their quality of life and protect their health and happiness. Delivery

Setting up an account, adjusting my preferences, and scheduling my Nom Nom delivery couldn’t have been simpler. The food arrived directly to my doorstep within a few days, and the food was pre-portioned and ready to serve. For busy dog parents, Nom Nom is a dependable solution that ensures your pup’s favorite food is always on hand and ready for mealtime.

Servings & Portions

First and foremost, Nom Nom‘s dog food comes pre-portioned and frozen. Set aside the servings you want to use first, and immediately put the rest in the freezer. Defrost the first few packages in the fridge.

Once it’s just empty the food straight into your dog’s bowl. I found that this can get a bit messy, so I decided to use a large spoon to serve.

All of Nom Nom’s packaging is recyclable as well which makes unboxing and disposal much easier.

Food Quality

While my dog’s loved each of Nom Nom’s flavors, I think I was most impressed by the fact that you can actually see the primary ingredients used in each recipe. The beef looks like beef. The carrots look like carrots. Peas are peas, etc. This was something that didn’t need to prove what it was, because I could see all of it, right there in my dog’s bowl. That alone gave me a lot of confidence in the brand, but the extensive research by and qualifications of the Nom Nom team really reinforced the quality of their product.

Nom Nom‘s customized clean, fresh food subscription boxes for dogs currently include a selection of 4 different recipes. Turkey Fare, Beef Mash, Pork Potluck, and Chicken Cuisine are Nom Nom’s four staple flavors.

Turkey Fare

The first product I tried with Eli and Chai was the Turkey Fare recipe. Since Eli is a bit smaller and has more specific dietary needs, I gave him a half portion while Chai got a full portion. Both pups thoroughly enjoyed this flavor and left their bowls clean.

Beef Mash

The second product my pups tried was the Beef Mash. We got the same enthusiastic results with this one as with the Turkey. Since both Eli and Chai have been exposed to the majority of the ingredients in this recipe before (and beef is always a treat for these two), they seemed to take to the flavor almost immediately and left their bowls clean.

Pork Potluck

Next was Nom Nom’s Pork Potluck. I was curious to see how Eli and Chai would respond to this flavor, as pork isn’t normally part of their diet. Overall, this was their favorite by far. Both dogs practically inhaled this recipe, and eagerly waited at my heels whenever a package of Pork Potluck was opened.

Chicken Cuisine

The last recipe we tried was the Chicken Cuisine. While both pups finished their food and left their bowls clean, this flavor didn’t receive as much enthusiasm as the rest. However, this could be because both dogs are already pretty familiar with chicken, so the other flavors were likely more of a treat.

For me, a lasting improvement to my dogs’ health and quality of life is always worth the buy.
