The key to this new, health-focused, human-grade dog food lies in recognizing that, like people, not all dogs are the same. It’s impossible to have a single type of dog food for even a specific breed — varieties in age, weight, food-sensitivity, and activity level outweigh most other factors when it comes to developing a healthy diet. In addition to the brand’s dedication to extensive research through partnerships with canine nutritionists, Ollie tailors each wag-worthy meal plan to each of its four-legged customers based on their specific health needs, putting pups on cloud ca-nine, one perfectly-portioned bowl at a time.

We want nothing but the best for our furry best friends, and when it comes to canine nutrition, the best goes by the name Ollie. By taking into account every dog’s breed, age, weight, activity level, and allergies, Ollie designs an ideal meal plan that ensures they’re getting the exact nutrients required for perfect health. The prepped and portioned food is then delivered to your home every 1-2 weeks. (Just pick it up at your door when you hear the barking.)

Origin Story

Co-founders Randy Jimenez, Alex Douzet, and Gabby Slome built Ollie out of their shared, genuine concern and love for the dogs of the world. Over the past ten years, the number of dogs diagnosed with diabetes and obesity has risen 900%; a testament to the cheap, loosely regulated, generally unhealthy dog food produced by brands like Mars and Nestle (yeah, the chocolate guys). Ollie is designed to do things differently; to provide food for dogs that will nourish them properly — and at such a high-quality that it’s good enough for humans to eat.

When starting an Ollie order, each pup parent takes a short survey, providing information about their dog’s weight, breed, activity level, food preferences and sensitivities, along with several other specifics. From there, the system calculates the perfect meal plan and offers a range of potential protein options such as beef, chicken, lamb, or turkey.

Every single meal is prepped and cooked in human-grade kitchen facilities across the USA, using carefully-sourced ingredients, the highest grades of meat, and fresh vegetables to ensure that essential nutrients and vitamins are included in every bite. Each meal is slow-cooked in small batches at low-temperatures to retain nutrients while killing off any bacteria, and flash-frozen to keep it fresh as it’s delivered straight to your door, each week.
