Origin Story

After countless unsuccessful business ideas and almost hanging up his towel, Chris Riccobono saw an opportunity to create a shirt that looked good untucked. While originally thinking the concept was too simple to turn into a full fledged business, he decided to take a chance and designed the signature Original Untucked shirt in 2010. Believing in his vision, his Columbia University classmate Aaron Sanandres joined him to create UNTUCKit. They launched their first official shirt after many prototypes in 2011. After immense success among men of all shapes and sizes, they have expanded their business from just the untucked shirt design to a full fledged clothing line with both men’s and women’s styles in their unparalleled performance fabric.

Their high quality button downs are available in five different fits in sizes from S to 3XL, ensuring men of every size and shape can sport the tailored, untucked look. They have also partnered with Career Gear, a nonprofit that donates shirts to men who need them for work and job interviews, to donate shirts during Giving Tuesday.

UNTUCKit also commits to sustainability, with plans to be carbon-neutral by 2025. Their printing and packaging are sustainably sourced and they use biodegradable and compostable materials to reduce single-use plastic. They ensure every one of the working environments of their manufacturers and vendors have healthy and safe working conditions as well.
