The Nisolo Unboxing Experience
It’s clear from the presentation that Nisolo prioritizes comfort and care. Shipped and packaged in a durable shoe box, each boot comes wrapped in its own Nisolo-tailored knapsack. There’s also a small notecard with instructions for wet weather, superior polishing techniques, and regular cleaning tips to keep the waxed brown leather boots in tip-top shape. And believe me, you’ll certainly want to.
The suede leather of the Andres Boot is gorgeous; easy on the eyes, and pleasantly soft to the touch. The stitching is excellent, the bottom heel is rigidly structured (which isn’t a bad thing as I’ll explain later), and the rubber sole is a definite highlight of Nisolo’s durability.
But, you’re probably wondering, how does it feel?
Wearing The Andres All-Weather Boot
Like I said, the bottom heel is rigidly structured and that’s no small matter. This is an extremely tough boot. From the first moment I slipped them on, I could feel the strength in the sole and heel. I was almost worried that it would be too difficult to break in, and for those with wider feet, I was worried it might be impossible (it’s definitely a boot on the narrow side).
However, after the first few days, I can happily say that the Andres Boot doesn’t just boast heavy-duty strength, style, and durability — but adaptable comfort. The boots kept my feet warm, snug, and dry in rain, sleet, and even snow (but maybe don’t chance ‘em during a snowstorm).
I also recommend making sure you get either a half size or even a full size above what you’re used to. Nisolo’s Andres Boot is a cozy, supportive shoe, and it doesn’t leave my much wiggle room for breaking in. I’m a size 12 and my Andres is a 12.5. If I had gotten my actual size, I definitely would have had to send the boots back.
Nisolo’s Andres Boot: Final Thoughts
If you’re a guy looking for an all-around boot for every occasion, then look no further. The Andres Boot proves it was worth the wait with its unshakeable inner comfort, superior durability, and sleek, top-quality, waterproof suede leather.
Not digging the Waxed-Brown look? Check out Nisolo’s website for their Brandy, Black, or Stone color options. You just can’t go wrong with a shoe this comfortable and construction this good. It’s money well spent on a boot that’ll keep you comfortably on your feet for years to come.
